Self contained movement
Vicious travels ahead
Direction blind
Graves are breathing
Their mouths are filled with bodies
Heaving arms and legs
Through their tombstone teeth
They read off my name
Tree legs rooted and standing
Behind these helpless tombs
Are the watchmen of these pathways
That look up at me feet
Muddy eyes stare up at my toes
Planning to consume me
As they blink
Eyelids filled with soil cry
These being that join me
walk lonely and bare
Without tapestries
their fur and flesh exposed
As the stream flows long and down
I think of the joining of me and the ground
What will my wall of remembrance read?
I throw one last rock as I leave
Rock enters river as I leave
